Hornsby Library offers study rooms that are available for free, a quiet space you can catch up on your homework or prepare for that big exam.

How many people can the Study Rooms seat?

Two small study rooms can each seat a maximum of 4 people.

Are bookings necessary?

Yes. Bookings will be taken up to one day before you use the rooms. Phone 9847 6813.

What is the maximum time a Study Room can be used?

Two hours per day.

Can paid tutoring be carried out in the rooms?

No, paid tutoring cannot be conducted in study rooms or open areas within the library.

Are there other areas to study?

Yes, Hornsby Library also offers a quiet study area. Bookings are not required. Please note that the quiet study area may be unavailable on occasion due to library events. Please phone 9847 6813 to confirm availability.
