Competition Terms and Conditions

  • Information on how to enter and the prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions of entry. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  • The promoter is Hornsby Shire Council, 296 Peats Ferry Road, Hornsby NSW 2077. ABN: 20 706 996 972.

Eligibility

  • Entry is open to residents of New South Wales (NSW) over the age of eighteen.  Employees, immediate family members of employees, employees of any company associated with the Promotion are ineligible to enter.

Entry

  • The promotion commences on 17/03/2020 and entries close on 17/04/2020
  • To enter, Eligible Entrants must complete the ‘Hornsby Shire Council enewsletter online survey’ during the Promotion Period and enter via the link in the email sent to them or via the website: www.hornsby.nsw.gov.au

Prizes and winning

  • The random prize draw will take place on 20/04/2020 at Hornsby Shire Council, Administration Building, 296 Peats Ferry Road, Hornsby NSW 2077
  • There will be 15 winners randomly drawn from the completed surveys and each winner will receive one of the following prizes:
    • $100 Westfield Gift Cards;
    • $50 Event Cinema Gift Cards; or
    • $25 Bp Gift Cards.
  • Total Prize pool value is $750

Prize conditions

  • Winners will be notified by email within two (2) business days of the draw.
  • If there are any unclaimed or un-awarded prizes as prize draw will be conducted on 17/07/2020 (3 months after the original draw date) at the same time and place as the original draw. If a winner is drawn they will be contacted by phone and in writing within two (2) business days.
  • The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspects of the competition is final and binding on every person who enters, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize.
  • The personal information you provide in entering this competition will be used by the Promoter to conduct the competition. By entering this promotion, the entrant consents to the storage of their personal information on the Promoter’s database and the Promoter may use this information for future promotional and marketing purposes regarding the Promoter’s services including contacting the entrant via electronic messaging.
