Following a request from the local community and bike user groups, Transport for NSW carried out a safety review of Ku-ring-gai Chase Road, Mount Colah.

As a result of our findings, we will be reducing the speed limit. This will improve safety for bike users, create a consistent speed limit along the entire length of the road and bring it in line with the NSW Speed Zoning Standards.

  • traffic controllers and signage
  • noise from machinery and equipment if we are required to drill into rock for some posts.
