Warrina Street Oval
Playground and Park Upgrade – Warrina Street Oval, Berowra
The playground upgrade work provides a district level playspace with new opportunities for play and improved accessibility to the park and playground. The playspace upgrade works were proudly partly funded by the NSW Government in association with Hornsby Shire Council.
The park upgrade works provide a continuous pedestrian circuit path around the oval and additional exercise equipment.
Completed works include:
- District level play space with water play elements, shade sails, play equipment and picnic settings
- Improved accessible path connections including improved access to playspace and toilets in the amenities building
- Pedestrian circuit path around the oval, including fencing adjustments and additional exercise equipment
- Swale bridge connection for circuit path over existing grass swale near existing netball courts
- Upgrading of driveway entry from Warrina Street for incorporation of circuit path connection and improved entry to the park.
