Ruddock Park
Ruddock Park Upgrade
The playground upgrade work provides a structured playspace with additional play opportunities with an accessible path network to the park and learn-to-ride in accordance with Council’s Play Plan. This project was proudly funded by the NSW Government in association with Hornsby Shire Council.
The construction works at Ruddock Park were implemented in two parts;
Part 1 Landscape Works and Learn-To-Ride
Completed works include:
- A Learn-To-Ride play area
- Pathway upgrades providing safe and inclusive shared connectivity network
- Additional activities such a basketball half court, relocation of kids’ swings, seating/picnicking shelters, planting, lawn areas and an outdoor gym.
Part 2 Club House and Amenities Refurbishment
Completed works include:
- Refurbishment of club house interiors, public toilets and building roof
- Construction of ramp and steps for the building access
- Other building repair and maintenance works.
