Mills Park Playspace, Asquith
Council has prepared a draft Landscape Plan for Mills Park, Asquith to set a vision for upcoming capital works upgrades.
The draft Landscape Concept Plan proposes the following items:
- Renewal of the playground including a multiplay unit, swings, nature play equipment and mini trampoline.
- New pedestrian paths
- Outdoor fitness station with a range of equipment
- Remove chainmesh fence from Chelmsford Road frontage and replace with sandstone block bollards
- Re-paint the existing tennis hit-up wall
- Installation of a netball hoop
- Site signage
- Additional tree plantings to improve shade around the playspace
This project is proudly funded by the NSW Government in association with Hornsby Shire Council.

Update – Nov 2024
Community consultation was undertaken in September – October 2024. Following a review of submissions, the Draft Landscape Concept Plan was revised to take on board the feedback we received from the community. The revised Landscape Concept Plan can be viewed at the YourSay page.
