Greenway Park Off-Leash Dog Park Extension and Landscape Upgrade

The park upgrade works at Greenway Park Off-Leash Dog Park Extension and Landscape Upgrade, Cherrybrook were completed in April 2024.

Works included:

• Extension to the existing off-leash dog park with a six-month trial period as a separate space for small dogs, puppies and elderly dogs. A review will be conducted on completion of the trial period.
• New pedestrian pathways connect Shepherds Drive and John Purchase Oval and Cherrybrook Technology High School thereby improving links to the off-leash dog park.
• Improvements are made to the memorial dedicated to ANZAC serviceman of Indian Origin. These works provide a flat levelled area in front of the memorial and in this process create embankment seating walls that the public can use. The existing Armistice Day memorial that was located adjacent to the Greenway Park carpark is relocated in the area to complete this war memorial precinct.
