The Edward Bennett Oval Landscape Masterplan sets the long term vision for capital works upgrades within the park. The masterplan went on public exhibition from November 14 to 28, 2022.

Key features of the landscape masterplan include:

  • Water harvesting basins funded by the CRR
  • Sandstone seating walls located for viewing the field
  • 2m wide concrete pedestrian circuit path totalling 390m long including new links to Edward Bennett Drive
  • Fitness trail with fitness pods
  • Playground upgrade
  • New amenities building

Community consultation for the Draft Playground Concept Plan was undertaken in December 2024 – February 2025. A revised plan will be made available on this page that is informed by the feedback we received during consultation.

The project is jointly funded by the NSW Government in association with Hornsby Shire Council.
