Wisemans Ferry Boat Ramp now open!

Following the devastation of two major flood events in 2022, a new three-lane boat ramp at Wisemans Ferry has been launched, breathing new life into the recreational facilities of the picturesque Hawkesbury River community.

Project-managed by Hornsby Shire Council and co-funded by The Hills Shire Council and the NSW Government, the new boat ramp is complimented by a new pontoon, a new 163 bay car park for cars with trailers and 29 bays for cars and a new amenities block. It will greatly increase the ability of locals and visitors to enjoy the water.

Wisemans Ferry boat ramp is located on Old Northern Road in Wisemans Ferry next to the bowling club.

A new playground has also been installed at the site.

To maintain the facility in the future Council is proposing to implement paid parking in the coming months. Consultation with local residents, businesses and user groups will be undertaken over the next few months.
