Intersection of Duffy Avenue, Chilvers Road and The Esplanade
This project involves the final stage for the upgrade of the above intersection. The southern side of the intersection is being realigned and traffic signals upgraded to improve the efficiency of the intersection, footpaths are being reconstructed and widened to be shared paths. The works are anticipated to start in mid to late November and take approximately 4 to 5 months dependent on the weather. Some preconstruction works have already been undertaken to relocate underground services. Some minor inconvenience maybe incurred during construction, however, appropriate traffic and pedestrian safety measures will be implemented to minimise disruption as well as work being undertaken outside peak periods and at night.
