Current Bushland Projects

• Pennant Hills Park Walking Track Upgrades

  This project involves the construction of a new bushland walking track connection to the south of Pennant Hills Park.

• Great North Walk Upgrades Berowra to Cowan

  This project involves walking track upgrades to sections of the Great North Walk (GNW) between Berowra and Cowan including formalising the Alston Drive to GNW feeder track.

• East Asquith Trail Links

  This project involves construction of multiple walking track links surrounding Mills Park in Asquith.

Completed Bushland Projects

• Beecroft-Cheltenham Bushland Wayfinding Signage

  Hornsby Shire Council in partnership with City of Parramatta Council is working to refresh and expand the walking track wayfinding signage within Beecroft-Cheltenham bushland.

• Thornleigh Oval Great North Walk Track Head Upgrade

  Council has completed the upgrade of the Great North Walk track head at Thornleigh Oval. The Great North Walk is a very popular walking track for locals and tourists.

• Pyes Creek Elevated Walkway

  This project involved the installation of a 60m long swing bridge in Pyes Creek Bushland and walking track upgrades between Fallon Dr Dural and Keighran Pl Cherrybrook.

• Quarter Sessions Road Viewing Platform and Landscaping Works

  This project involved the upgrade of the viewing platform and landscaping works at 278X Quarter Sessions Road, Westleigh.

• Brooklyn Boardwalk Upgrade

  Upgrade work on the superb ‘Mangrove Walk’ boardwalk at Brooklyn Park, Brooklyn has been completed!
