Superfood fanatics can broaden their knowledge about food and nutrition by meeting author Yoshiko Takeuchi when she visits Hornsby Library.
Yoshiko Takeuchi will be there on Wednesday 21 February to talk about her latest book Japanese Superfoods.
Yoshiko has nearly 20 years of experience working as a chef and was featured on The Biggest Loser, where she cooked healthy meals for the contestants.
Japanese superfoods have been highly respected as being the ancient Japanese secret to health and vitality.
Japanese cuisine is a vegetable-based traditional cuisine that is renowned for being both tasty and wholesome.
The book provides information on 20 Japanese superfoods and outlines traditional recipes, in addition to westernised dishes such as pasta and cakes.
