Councils are required to produce a State of the Shire Report as part of the Integrated Planning and Reporting (IP&R) framework. Our State of the Shire Report 2024 is structured around the four key Themes which have guided the community over the past six years: Liveable, Sustainable, Productive and Collaborative.
The Report outlines progress towards community outcomes and focus areas contained in the Community Strategic Plan 2022-2032, Your Vision | Your Future 2032, and shows progress through a series of indicators under each Theme.
To determine shared goals and future direction for our Shire, it is essential that we understand where we are now. This report has been designed to inform community members, councillors, staff and other government agencies.
