Scam alert!

We have received reports that current and former residents of Hornsby Shire are being targeted by callers impersonating Hornsby Shire Council staff to conducting telephone surveys. We are not currently conducting any telephone surveys and believe this is a phishing scam. We have investigated this thoroughly and can reassure residents that our data has not been breached in any way.
From time to time, we may conduct phone surveys as part of a wider engagement project. In these cases, we will always:
- Introduce the call by telling you which project the survey is in reference to
- Communicate about our engagement projects on our Your Say Hornsby website and our social media.
Please remain vigilant when providing personal information to anyone and report any suspicious activity to Report a scam | Scamwatch.
